Horizontal auger boring, also known as auger boring, horizontal earth boring, or jack and bore, is one of the most common trenchless and tunneling options. Auger boring can be used to install pipes and casings in various ground conditions and, in many cases, has lower overall costs compared to other trenchless methods.
