Join us at the International Downtown Association's Annual Conference!

September 20, 2018

We are proud to be an urban champion sponsor of the International Downtown Association and to be participating in their 64th Annual Conference. If you're in San Antonio for the conference, come visit us at our booth #33; we'd love to talk to you about how we help communities manage change. And, make sure to catch one of our panel sessions!

Simon O'Byrne will be giving a master talk on the importance of converting older office buildings to new uses. By repurposing these spaces, downtowns can see more positive growth in economic vitality and degree of vibrancy. Check back for more details!

Thursday, October 25

From 1:30-3:00pm, Craig Lewis will join the panel "Zoning and Regulations for Retail Vitality" to discuss how retailers must be creative in order to thrive in a rapidly changing retail environment.

David Dixon, from 3:30-5:00pm, will moderate the panel "The AV Future is Now to See" which will address how cities can prepare for AVs and the transformation opportunities they bring for economic growth.

Friday, October 26

From 1:30-3:00pm, David Dixon will join a panel to discuss the exciting work we've been doing with IDA on their annual The Value of U.S. Downtowns and Center Cities report and how this report will now inform a Downtown Vitality Index.

Lastly, we're excited to share we'll also be receiving three awards (one of merit and two of excellence) for our work in various communities across the United States!
