Inside AMP's new run-of-river hydropower plants

The four hydropower projects built by American Municipal Power are highlighted in the September/October 2016 issue of Renewable Energy World Magazine.

“According to the National Hydropower Association, one of the best power sources to tap in the United States are non-powered dams.” The article expands on how fitting existing dams has minimal environmental impacts, and completing projects such as these could significantly increase clean electricity generation capacity.
