In the remote Andes Mountains of Peru—4,100 metres (nearly 14,000 feet) above sea level—sits the Huanza Hydroelectric project. Stantec engineers Jose Alvoeiro and Carlos Calderaro designed this unique and challenging project, and in the March issue of Power Engineering you can read about their experiences and lessons learned.
