Anamaria has always been fascinated by how people move. As a transportation professional, she helps create their paths and strives to make them as safe as possible for all users. Motorists, pedestrians of all abilities, and bicyclists can find her designs throughout Texas, including her own neighborhood. She values seeing and living the impacts of the work we do.
Her traffic engineering experience includes traffic signal designs, signing and pavement marking designs, roadway illumination design, traffic studies, signal warrant analyses, and traffic control plans. Winner of several Texas District of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) awards, Anamaria has served as President of the Capital Area Section of ITE and graduated from the LeadershipITE program. She was also a guest speaker on the ITE Talks Transportation podcast.
There was always music playing in Anamaria’s home growing up. Now living in the “Live Music Capital of the World,” she relishes Austin’s infinite opportunities for concerts and shows.
