CTE’s rapid rise has been fueled by increasing associations of education with business, fostering new opportunities for students to succeed. At the 2018 National School Boards Association Annual Conference, Stantec senior planner Theo Pappas and principal Christian Owens are joined by the director of CTE at Genesee Intermediate School District in Flint, Michigan, to look at how the CTE revolution is evolving how we think of education and space.

Sharing both practical and inspirational applications of CTE, we take our audience on a visual tour of the next generation of CTE spaces throughout the country and relay our experiences as planners, designers, and the perspective of the educators involved. We’ll provoke thought and questions about the future of education and perhaps even the future of society
