In LaGrange, Georgia, a skatepark is designed for users of all ages and abilities

 

Skateboarding and other wheeled sports have been growing in popularity for decades. The October issue of Landscape Architecture Magazine showcases our design for LaGrange, Georgia’s Southbend Skatepark. In this article, Stantec’s Mike McIntyre discusses how this park is built to be inclusive for bikes, scooters, and even wheelchairs.
